∞ “What You Do Not See Still Exists: On Alexis Pauline Gumbs’ Dub: Finding Ceremony” (pdf) – Iseult Gillespie, 2020

Iseult Gillespie is a PhD candidate in Literary Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her forthcoming articles explore autotheory, crip theory, and necropolitics. Her dissertation examines how biology is translated into contemporary cultural forms, through the critical lens of disability studies and feminist science studies. More broadly, she is interested in accounting for alternative inscriptions of embodiment in a debilitating present.
