∞ “Othering Ecology” (pdf) – Nicole Grimaldi, 2021
Nicole Grimaldi is a PhD student in Comparative Literature at New York University (NYU), pursuing a minor specialization in Media, Culture, and Communication. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto. She studies critical and political theory, contemporary poetry and poetics, and science and technology studies. Her recent work explores environmental futures thought through the interaction between postcolonial, post-anthropocentric, and critical posthumanist discourses. This year she is participating in a Bennett-Polonsky Humanities Lab at NYU, which works at the intersection of the humanities and the computational sciences to examine the problem of translation in natural and digital languages.
